Can the veneers be installed around a fireplace?

Yes, these panels are BRANZ Group 1S fire rated, making it safe for areas that need a high level of fire protection. We recommend tiling adhesive to be used instead of regular construction adhesive. The material is non-combustible, but we don’t recommend installing it directly above or in contact with an open flame.

How do I clean and maintain the veneers?

These panels require minimum maintenance. If cleaning needs to be done, use a non-abrasive cloth and avoid harsh chemicals.

Do you provide free samples?

We can provide upto 5 samples free of charge. You just need to cover the shipping cost.

Are these veneers waterproof?

These veneers are not fully waterproof, but it is suitable for use as a splashback or in areas with occasional moisture. We do not recommend installation in locations with frequent or direct water exposure, such as inside showers. For best results, use a quality tiling adhesive instead of regular construction glue, and ensure all edges and joins are properly sealed during installation.

Can I install this myself as a DIY?

Yes, although these veneers are more difficult to install due to its size, weight and flexibility, it can still be installed with careful handling.

How are these cut and installed?

These veneers can be cut with a snap off blade or standard masonry tools. If using knife, prioritise cutting the mesh from the back of the panel.

You may use a strong construction adhesive or tiling adhesive, brad nailers are recommended for temporary support.
